We currently have a vacancy for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team of Supermac's in the Kinnegad Plaza.

Supermac’s is Ireland’s largest and fastest-growing indigenous fast food restaurant group. The Plaza Group, which is part of the Supermac's group, operate a number of key locations, on busy road networks and motorways. The Kinnegad Plaza is one of those locations, which incorporate Supermac's, Papa Johns, Supersubs, Macs Place Deli, Spar Retail Shop, together with seating for 120 guests, and all the usual motorway facilities for leisure, business and truck commuters, with ample parking and services.

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the Restaurant, providing leadership to their team, dealing with the day to day operations, people management, food quality, and all aspects associated with successfully managing a restaurant. Restaurant Supervisors provide ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure Supermac’s/Retail customers receive the best quality, service and cleanliness each time they visit branch.

The successful candidate will have a good outgoing personality, excellent English and enjoys dealing with the public. The role may suit someone wishing to return to work or as a stepping stone to a career in the catering business. Candidates must be fully flexible to work midweek and weekends i.e. flexible on hours.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the shift
  • Work closely with your Store Manager to deliver amazing service every day
  • Supervise the activities of team members on a daily basis and ensure necessary tasks are completed to meet our high standards
  • Always be 100% focused on the customer and your team around you
  • Being hands on and lead from the front, committed to developing your team
  • Training the team on all aspects of the Supermac’s operations
  • Co-ordinate in-store sales and promotions
  • To assist the store manager as appropriate in employee relations

Your Profile:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience in the Catering/Hospitality/Quick Service Food industry is required
  • Demonstrate excellent people management skills
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
  • Be passionate about Customer Service
  • Be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times especially when in the public eye
  • You must be 100% customer focused, innovative, motivating and energetic for this hands on role
  • Knowledge of Food safety is required (HACCP)
  • You must be flexible to work a mixture of days, evenings and weekends
