Assistant Manager – Portlaoise Town Plaza

The Supermac's Group is Ireland’s largest chain of family restaurants. Having opened the N17 Tuam Plaza and a Drive Through in the town of Loughrea in just the last year. Supermac’s is a company with a progressive vision and is currently inviting candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Manager based in Portlaoise Store dealing primarily with Papa John's Pizza.

As Papa John's Assistant Manager, your main Responsibilities include the following:

• Work closely with your Store Manager to deliver amazing service every day
• Supervise the activities of team members on a daily basis and ensure necessary tasks are completed to meet our high standards
• Always be 100% focused on the customer and your team around you
• Being hands on and lead from the front, committed to developing your team
• Training the team on all aspects of the Supermac’s operations
• Co-ordinate in-store sales and promotions
• To assist the Store Manager with Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development of Team Members, Daily Restaurant Operations, Food Safety, Employee Relations etc.

Your Profile:

• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the Catering/Hospitality/Quick Service Food industry is required
• Demonstrate excellent people management skills
• Demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
• Be passionate about Customer Service
• Be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times especially when in the public eye
• You must be 100% customer focused, innovative, motivating and energetic for this hands-on role
• Knowledge of Food safety is required (HACCP)
• You must be flexible to work a mixture of days, evenings and weekends
