New Store Opening – Assistant Managers – Waterford

The Supermac's Group is Ireland’s largest chain of family restaurants. Having opened over 10 outlets in the last 3 years, including the Kinnegad Plaza and a new Plaza in Portlaoise, Supermac’s is a company with a progressive vision and is currently inviting candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Manager for our new restaurant opening Summer 2021 in Waterford.  The outlet includes a  Supermac’s Restaurant, Drive Thru, Papa John’s Pizza, SuperSubs and Barista.

As Assistant Manager, your main Responsibilities include the following:

• Work closely with your Store Manager to deliver amazing service every day
• Supervise the activities of team members on a daily basis and ensure necessary tasks are completed to meet our high standards
• Always be 100% focused on the customer and your team around you
• Being hands on and lead from the front, committed to developing your team
• Training the team on all aspects of the Supermac’s operation
• Co-ordinate in-store sales and promotions
• To assist the store manager with Restaurant Daily Operations, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development of Team Members, Food Safety,  Employee Relations etc.

Your Profile:

• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the Catering/Hospitality/Quick Service Food industry is required
• Demonstrate excellent people management skills
• Demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
• Be passionate about Customer Service
• Be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times especially when in the public eye
• You must be 100% customer focused, innovative, motivating and energetic for this hands on role
• Knowledge of Food safety is required (HACCP)
• You must be flexible to work a mixture of days, evenings and weekends
