Barista Assistant – N20 Mallow Plaza

Supermac's currently require fully flexible Full & Part time barista staff for the N20 Mallow Plaza.

The Plaza Group, which is part of the Supermac's group, operate a number of key locations, on busy road networks and motorways. The N20 Mallow Plaza is a location which incorporates Supermac's, Papa Johns, Supersubs, Macs Place Deli, Retail Convenience Shop, together with customer seating, and all the usual motorway facilities for leisure, business and truck commuters, with ample parking and services. The variety of choice on the menu means there is something tasty and tempting at Supermac’s for everybody.

Job Purpose:

You will provide ongoing support to the Management team in a fast paced environment to ensure our Supermac's customers receive the best quality, service and cleanliness every time!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Treating our customers to warm and friendly service each and every time they visit the site.
• Working an all areas to comply with company standards, adhering to safety/quality aspects, thus ensuring consistency every time.
• Working as part of a team, in all areas as required, treating all staff and management with respect.
• Following company guidelines/training in all aspects of food / beverage preparation, production and storage.
• At all times, portraying a professional image, both on and off the premises.
• Working with management team to increase the numbers of customers and the amount of money spent each and every day in our Café.
• In relation to cash handling, ensure correct procedures are followed as directed by management.
• Ensuring uniform and personal appearance is complying with company guidelines.
• Constantly putting the customer first, whether first thing in the morning, or last thing at night.
• Handle complaints and incidents effectively, passing on to Supervisor/ Manager.
• Working with management team to increase the numbers of customers and the amount of money spent each and every day in our restaurant.
• Keep lobby are and customer toilets clean and tidy at all times
• To ensure all orders are completed efficiently and correctly
• Assist Management with ensuring customers receive the best quality, service and cleanliness each time they visit the Portlaoise Plaza.
• Assisting in the training and development of new staff
• Carry out all duties diligently
• Flexible to work in other areas as required
• Responds to General Manger requests
