Description
The Cashier’s main responsibility is to ensure customers receive excellent service in a clean welcoming environment while maintaining cash procedures and all related banking/cash handling requirements.
Support from the Manager/Operations Manager is given when needed to facilitate alignment of goals with the overall company.
This role is part-time for 2 weekly shifts, willing to work evenings and weekends.
Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be over 20 years old.
THE JOB:
- Attentive to customers at all times and ensuring they are given the necessary change/information in keeping with any promotions or offers being run in the store.
- Responsible for reporting any repair/maintenance of Funworld Machinery
- Carries out cleaning duties as directed by the supervisor/manager
- Respond to the Manager's requests regarding rostering/banking/marketing etc.
- Develops positive relationships with fellow staff and customers representing Funworld positively in all actions in the community
- Is flexible with regards to working hours, available to work additional hours to cover holidays of fellow workers.
- Liaises with all head office personnel as necessary
- Assists in the training of new staff – customer service/cash handling/Funworld policies etc.
- Communicates appropriately with all customers fellow workers and management.
- Follows instructions, accepts feedback, and acts in the best interest of the business in all actions.
- And any other duties which may be assigned from time to time in the best interest of the business.
