Supermac's HQ currently have an exciting opportunity for the position of HR Manager.
Job Purpose:
The HR Manager is responsible for the HR Function across Supermac’s as a whole. This includes all stores and Head Office.
The HR Manager is responsible for developing and implementing various policies and procedures, which in turn lead to more effective people management and performance at restaurant level. This Senior Management Role accepts overall responsibility for advising on all internal workplace disputes, overseeing investigations and outcomes, dealing with external bodies such as the WRC and liaising with the relevant expert personnel in preparation for any associated hearings.
Working with the Operations Manager/Franchising Manager/Area Managers and Store Managers, the HR Manager is constantly looking to develop and recruit talented management candidates, both internally and externally, planning the recruitment for new stores, and looking for new areas to recruit quality candidates in Ireland and the EU.
In conjunction with the Ops Manager and Area Managers the HR Manager is responsible for implementing a people development strategy, whilst conducting training needs analysis, and compliance training on a shop by shop basis in conjunction with the Training Department. This involves coordinating and streamlining induction and onboarding training, coaching of employees, performance appraisals, career development, mentoring and progression. The HR Manager is responsible for updating data, conducting audits, surveys, interviews, and providing each Restaurant with support and documentation on best practice in Human Resources. The HR Manager must be effective, efficient, credible and treat information relative to HR related matters with utmost confidentiality.
Person Specification:
-
3 years HR Management experience at a senior level in a large multi site organisation.

Hospitality/Retail Sector experience preferred

Degree or equivalent qualification in HR/Employment Law.........e.g CIPD qualified

An extensive knowledge of employment law, best policy Human Resources practice, Training & Development.

Full Drivers' Licence

Demonstrates: Strong people development skills, negotiation and conflict management skills, organisation and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, business savvy and ability to see the big picture

Develop and maintains credibility, trust and confidence with individuals and groups

High level proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Presentations)
