Description
Our Costcutter Forecourt in Mallow, Co Cork, currently have an opportunity for a part time Baker or Pastry Chef for their busy Delicatessen and Bakery.
Shifts will start from 5am onwards for this role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can work on their own initiative who also has a flair/passion for cooking/baking. Similar experience is required, and full training will be provided.
The Job:
Some responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist the Deli Manager in the smooth running of the Delicatessen

Ensures the deli/bakery area provides a variety of fresh, well-presented foods at all times of the day whilst operational
-
Ensure delicatessen standards are consistently improving in terms of housekeeping, merchandising, presentation and customer service

Ensure HACCP standards are followed
-
Ensure overall customer service levels within the area are maintained at the required standard, and upselling of add on items where possible.

Assist the Manager in ensuring stock is rotated accordingly and out of date stock is discarded appropriately
-
Ensure wastages in the delicatessen area are maintained at a minimum level through effect management of the stock
