Maintenance Technician

Supermac's are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Person for their restaurants in the South East Region.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Maintenance person will undertake maintenance tasks as required by the Area Manager/Buildings Manager. The maintenance person will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, including plumbing/tiling/light repairs. The maintenance person will carry out a number of proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on a daily basis.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• The ideal candidate will have a track record in the field of maintenance, and will most probably have a qualification in a craft discipline, i.e. plumbing, carpentry etc.
• Must be flexible, able to work in all areas, i.e. plumbing, painting, repairing seating, replacing ceiling tiles, lights etc.
• Carries out all duties as directed willingly and efficiently, and taking the initiative to take on additional duties where same becomes obvious when on site, thus reducing the need for a return visit.
• Must carry out work effectively, efficiently and with minimum disruption to customers and at restaurant level.
• Must abide by all safety standards and procedures and ensure others do likewise
• Conscious of safety of self, other colleagues and customers.
