Supermac’s is a company with a progressive vision and is currently seeking an Area/Regional Manager for the Cork region.

As Regional Area Manager you will report to the Operations Manager.  You will provide overall leadership and supervision to the entire team of the restaurants, both company operated and franchised, in your area to ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds the targets established for their individual unit.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the business, assisting the Restaurant Manager/Franchisee build relationships in local communities, assisting in the development of a local store marketing plan with the Restaurant Manager/Franchisee for each store to generate business and goodwill in each community.
  • Has an action plan for each store that is communicated to the team in each store, where we are now, where we are going, constant measurement, and follow up. This applies to sales, costs, people, etc...
  • Takes the lead role in planning for people development, recruitment, selection, training, and succession planning for future expansion in area.
  • Oversees employee relations and customer complaints having the potential for significant impact on the business and takes the necessary action and advice to minimise effect.
  • Liaises with all head office departments as necessary.

Your Profile:

  • An experienced Area manager who has proven progressive Management experience along with some multi site experience within the Catering/Hospitality/Quick Service Food Industry - A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience is required.
  • The ability to lead, manage and develop others into a state of self sufficiency
  • Possess excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Business acumen gained through work experience and/or a business degree
  • Communicates restaurant goals and a motivating vision; links individual General Management performance to achieving restaurant goals.
  • Provides clear direction and authority and is assertive
  • Regularly coaches Management to drive for results, is a role model in his display of professionalism
  • Full Driving Licence is essential

This position will suit an individual who is highly motivated, hardworking with excellent communication and management skills.
