Join Our Team as a Full-Time Supervisor
Location: Costcutter N20 Plaza, Mallow, Cork
Objective: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Supervisor to join our team at Costcutter N20 Plaza in Mallow, Cork. As a Supervisor, your primary goal will be to assist the Site Manager in achieving store targets, both in terms of sales and profitability, by effectively managing store operations and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervisory:

Lead and motivate our retail sales team on a daily basis, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.

Champion consistent and exceptional customer service to enhance our customers' experience.

Delegate responsibilities and communicate effectively with team members.

Oversee the induction and training of new employees, ensuring they are set up for success.

Share sales performance updates and insights with the team.
-
Assist in the recruitment of talented retail sales assistants.

Collaborate with the Store Manager to manage and improve the performance of the retail sales team.
Operations:
-
Maintain a customer-friendly and competitive store layout, following company guidelines.
-
Uphold excellent housekeeping standards within the store.
-
Coordinate in-store sales and promotions, and communicate these effectively to the team.

Ensure cash register and cash handling policies are strictly adhered to.

Keep shelf-edge labels updated weekly.
-
Respond to local market trends and competition appropriately.
-
Address customer complaints promptly and professionally, taking action for store improvements when necessary.
Stock Management:

Support the manager in stock-taking preparations and supervision when required.

Minimize stock loss due to wastage, damages, and pilferage.
-
Ensure the retail sales team complies with food management and waste systems.

Monitor stock levels to meet customer needs.

Implement appropriate stock rotation to minimize waste.
Legislation & Security:

Ensure secure opening and closing procedures in collaboration with the Store Manager.

Assist in managing staff while ensuring compliance with Labor Law, HACCP, Health & Safety, and Consumer Legislation.

Identify and address potential hazards in the store, promoting a safe working environment.

Collaborate with the Store Manager to conduct and act upon Health & Safety checks.
