Description

The Tipperary Town Plaza is a key stop over point for motorists travelling through the midlands.  High standard facilities within the Tipperary Town Plaza includes a restaurant, convenience shop and fuel facilities and in addition provides broadband connectivity free to visitors.

We are currently looking to hire a Site Operations Manager to oversee this development.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure delivery of site targets for all departments within Tipperary Town Plaza, in terms of sales & profitability through the effective management of all store operations and personnel, merchandising, local & national store marketing, and cost management.
  • To manage the daily operations and ensure all departments are monitored on a daily basis to ensure efficient service and maximum profitability.
  • Assist with recruitment, training and development of high quality personnel for all departments within the site
  • Overseeing rostering and general management of personnel to ensure adequate cover with in budgetary provisions, whilst maintaining quality service to our customers in all areas of the store and across all offerings/brands.
  • Conduct weekly management meetings and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Plan and organise all aspects of the operation to include all Fuel, Food (Hot & Cold – all brands), Retail (Convenience Shop), together with ancillary offerings on site provided to the customer.
  • Taking the leading role, overseeing operations and leading by example.
  • Managing the overall performance of the site, and driving operations to ensure this store is maximised.
  • Merchandising professionally, using planograms where necessary to maximize space and offerings.
  • Manage the performance of the team utilising effective performance management techniques and in line with labour law.
  • Continually communicate with Managers regarding objectives and store performance.
  • Setting goals for the store to ensure effective customer service and competitiveness.
  • Developing and implementing a plan for the store, communicating the plan, and achieving objectives.
