‘Best Newcomer’ in Ireland’s Forecourt and Convenience retailer awards 2014
Fantastic news for The Barack Obama Plaza in Moneygall as it scoops up one of Irelands most prestigious awards as ‘Best Newcomer’ in the Irish Forecourt and Convenience Retailer Awards of 2014.
The Awards, which take place every year, attended this year by our very own Pat & Una McDonagh along with the Supermacs Team. The awards were presided over by Miriam O’Callaghan in The Ballsbridge Hotel on September 12th.
The Barack Obama Plaza is Pat McDonagh’s newest venture, entering into the Market as a major purpose built motorway service facility on the M7 route between Dublin and Limerick providing over 60 new jobs in the locality. This new facility boasts numerous different food and beverage providers and a community development facility. The Community development facility houses a museum commemorating Barack Obama’s visit to Ireland, and further enhancing the links between the US and Moneygall.
