Our Food
Grounded in Ireland with Trusted Irish Suppliers & Fresh, Never Frozen Quality
At Supermac’s, our food starts long before it reaches our kitchens. We work with trusted Irish suppliers across the country to source fresh Irish ingredients, ensuring every meal reflects our high standards of quality food produce.
From dairy and cheese to fresh produce, seasonings and premium burgers, our ingredients come from trusted partners across Ireland. Supermac’s is proud to work with over 500 suppliers and thousands of farm families throughout the country, all of whom play a role in helping us deliver great tasting food every day.
We’re grounded in Ireland. From the farms where it begins to the communities we serve every day.
Built on Relationships
Our suppliers are central to how we do business. Many of them have been part of the Supermac’s story for years, and those relationships are built on trust, consistency and shared standards.
The supplier network reflects the breadth of Irish food production. It includes businesses such as Spice O’Life in West Cork, Lakeland Dairies, Loughnane’s Family Butchers and Rangeland Foods. Together, they help us source quality ingredients across multiple categories, from cheese and dairy to fresh produce and premium burger products.
These are not simply supply arrangements. They are long-term working relationships with people and businesses who care deeply about what they produce, how it is handled and the standards it meets.
Quality at the Core
Quality matters at every stage. That means working with suppliers who are known for strong standards, consistency and expertise in their field.
For example, Lakeland Dairies processes around 1.8 billion litres of milk annually into dairy foodservice products and ingredients, with an emphasis on high quality and consistency.
Rangeland Foods, meanwhile, is identified in the supplier material as a long-established Irish burger manufacturer and a leading producer of premium quality gourmet and quick service burgers for the foodservice market.
That quality focus is what helps Supermac’s maintain the standards customers expect, whether they are ordering a burger, an ice cream or any other menu item built around fresh ingredients.
Fresh, Never Frozen – Why That Matters
“Fresh, Never Frozen” is more than a slogan. It reflects a way of thinking about food quality, ingredient handling and customer experience.
At Supermac’s, we are passionate about great tasting fresh Irish food, and that starts with suppliers who can deliver ingredients to the right standard from the outset. The supplier material repeatedly emphasises freshness, quality and the importance of working with producers who can provide delicious produce every day.
Freshness matters because it affects taste, texture and overall quality. It also reflects the confidence we place in our supplier network. When you work closely with trusted Irish producers, you can focus on serving food that delivers on flavour without compromising on standards.
How Supermac’s Guarantees Quality Without Losing Freshness
Maintaining both quality and freshness depends on choosing the right suppliers and working with partners that can deliver consistency at scale.
That is why supplier capability matters so much. Spice O’Life is noted for its diverse manufacturing capability across seasoning blends, sauces, marinades and prepared foods. Lakeland Dairies is highlighted for the quality and consistency of its dairy ingredients. Rangeland provides traceability from field to fork. These are the kinds of systems and standards that help protect product quality while keeping freshness at the centre.
Supermac’s scale also supports that consistency. The business operates 120 restaurants throughout the country, employs over 4,500 people, and has built a nationwide network that depends on reliable ingredient quality every day.
In practice, quality without losing freshness comes from three things: trusted sourcing, strong supplier standards, and long-term relationships with partners who understand exactly what Supermac’s expects.
Proudly Irish, Proudly Quality-Focused
Supermac’s has always been proud of its Irish roots, and that pride extends directly to the people who supply the business. The supplier story is not just about ingredients. It is also about family businesses, communities, employment and shared success across Ireland.
That is what sits behind the food on our menu: strong supplier relationships, quality produce, and a commitment to freshness that runs through the entire process. Explore our menu here.
