Drive Thru Wedding Service

Supermac’s has been bringing couples together since 1978, from lunchtime courting, late-night nibbles and/to Snackbox proposals and now, Drive Thru weddings.

Taking inspiration from the good old US of A, the (Drive Thru wedding) service will be aVEILable/available at selected Drive Thru Supermac’s outlets nationwide. Simply pre-register your details online and reserve your preferred timeslot.

Each store has an appointed marriage officiant ready to help you celebrate your big day. Supermac’s also cater for the wedding reception, which can be can arranged for takeaway after the Drive Thru service.  *Vintage car is optional

Supermac’s 1st couple to get married in its Drive Thru Weddings Service described their experience as a ‘match made in heaven’.

TJ and Aoife Carroll decided to get hitched after they heard that the Supermac’s Drive Thru on the Ballysimon Rd in Limerick was offering a Drive Thru Wedding Service.

“We both love Supermac’s and each other so we figured what better way to tie the knot?” TJ said. “When we heard that we could get hitched in the Drive Thru it was a no brainer for us. It’s outdoors, it’s convenient, you can bring your family and close friends as everyone stays in their cars and you can feed them all afterwards. What’s not to like about that?”

Guests can tune their car stereos to listen to the nuptials and the traditional beeping of the car horn afterwards happens when the groom gets to kiss the bride.

“We wanted to do something different that we would remember forever and with weddings limited by the restrictions we felt what better way to tie the knot than with family and friends in a Supermac’s Drive Thru,” Aoife said. “I got a husband and a Snack Box.”

Supermac’s wished the couple well on their social media sites saying “We would like to wish TJ and Aoife a very long and happy life together. The loving couple were the 1st to get married using our newly set-up Supermac’s Drive Thru Weddings service in Supermac’s Ballysimon Rd, Limerick and both are big Snack Box fans.
