Candidates must be available for a flexible work schedule: Monday to Sunday.

Job Purpose: As a Barista, your role is not just about brewing coffee; it's about crafting delightful moments for our customers. You'll educate customers about our diverse drinks menu, make personalized recommendations, and enhance their visit with your friendly and professional service. To excel in this role, you'll need excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of coffee brewing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Exceptional Customer Service:

• Ensure every customer receives prompt and exceptional service.
• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that goes the extra mile to meet customer needs.

2. Coffee Craftsmanship:

• Prepare high-quality coffee consistently, meeting our standards of excellence.
• Take ownership of the coffee station, maintain counter presentation, and ensure stock availability.
• Uphold cleanliness and food safety standards.

3. Operational Excellence:

• Manage daily coffee station operations efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Keep the coffee machine and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Ensure tables and condiments are well-maintained.

4. Team Collaboration:

• Work cohesively with your team in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide training to team members in coffee preparation.
• Support a positive, fun, and efficient work environment.

5. Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to legal requirements, including HACCP and Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear the full Barista uniform at all times.
• Follow store policies and procedures diligently.
• Monitor and record temperatures in the deli area, ensuring compliance with HACCP.

6. General Marketing and Promotion:

• Actively participate in marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Be open to receiving training to enhance your skills and maintain high standards.
• Assist in any other duties assigned by the assistant store manager/store manager.
