Catering assistant – Westport

Supermac's is seeking catering assistants to work in our Westport location.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Catering Assistant provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure Supermac’s customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness each time they visit a Supermac’s restaurant.

The Catering Assistant must interact with customers, staff, and management in a friendly and efficient manner to achieve this result. It is their responsibility to carry out his/her duties in compliance with the training received, and the standards set in the Employee Handbook.

The purpose of the role is to serve our customers the quality food they order as quickly as possible, in a friendly manner, ensuring the accuracy of order every time.

THE JOB:

1. Working in an area to comply with company standards, adhering to safety/quality aspects, thus ensuring consistency every time.

2. Working as part of a team, treating all staff and management with respect.

3. Following company guidelines/training in food preparation, production, and storage.

4. At all times, portray a professional image, both on and off the premises.

5. Treat our customers to warm and friendly service every time they visit our restaurant.

6. Working with the management team to increase the number of customers and the amount of money spent every day in our restaurant.

7. About cash handling, ensure correct procedures are followed as directed by management.

8. Ensuring uniform and personal appearance in complying with company guidelines.

9. Flexibility to work in all areas of the restaurant as requested by the Manager

10. Constantly putting the customer first, whether first thing in the morning or last thing at night.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Fast-paced “non-stop” environment. Physically demanding at times due to certain business requirements with regards to the level of business, quality of staff, and quantity of staff. Teamwork is essential to ensure the procedure runs smoothly in all areas, and communication flows.
