Join our team as a Full-time Catering / Kitchen Assistant at Supermac's Roscommon!

Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work full-time from Monday to Sunday.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Catering Assistant provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure Supermac’s customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness each time they visit a Supermac’s restaurant.

The role involves working across different areas of the restaurant, including the grill, customer service, pizza preparation and sandwich preparation. The Catering Assistant must interact with customers, colleagues and management in a friendly and efficient manner and carry out their duties in line with the training received and the standards set in the Employee Handbook.

Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for people who are willing to learn, work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.

THE JOB:

  • Working across different areas of the restaurant, including the grill, customer service, pizza preparation and sandwich preparation.
  • Preparing and serving food in accordance with company standards and food safety procedures.
  • Following company guidelines and training in all aspects of food preparation, production and storage.
  • Providing warm, friendly and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Working as part of a team and treating all colleagues and management with respect.
  • Following health, safety and quality standards to ensure consistency in all areas of the restaurant.
  • Flexibility to work in all areas of the restaurant as requested by the Manager.
  • Handling cash and following the correct procedures as directed by management.
  • Maintaining a clean, professional and safe working environment.
  • Ensuring uniform and personal appearance comply with company guidelines.
  • Working with the Management Team to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Constantly putting the customer first, whether first thing in the morning or last thing at night.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Fast-paced, “non-stop” environment. The role can be physically demanding at times, depending on the volume of business and the number of staff available during busy periods. Teamwork and good communication are essential to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly across all areas.

No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided.
