The role will involve but not limited to:
This is a hands-on, day based maintenance role working with catering and refrigeration equipment, plus general maintenance for Southern & Midlands area. The Refrigeration/Catering equipment Technician will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of all our equipment on an ongoing basis. If you have a strong background in commercial refrigeration, this is an excellent opportunity to join a like-minded Team focused on professional growth and innovation. The position involves travel and emergency response to breakdowns.
YOUR PROFILE
Supermacs Ireland are seeking a motivated and reliable hands on person with a proven track record, who will possess excellent oral and written communications skills. He/She will be suitably qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and a good working knowledge of refrigeration and catering equipment, servicing and maintenance. The suitable candidate will be a hands on person with a proven track record, and will possess excellent oral and written communications skills. Accurate record keeping and logs are a must so strong attention to detail required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Trouble shooting and problem solving of Catering & Refrigeration equipment
- Repair and maintenance of various catering equipment including fridges, freezers, ice-cream machines and cold displays etc
- Install & Service of refrigeration & catering equipment.
- Commitment to completing jobs fully, with a positive can do attitude
- Flexible and approachable, with excellent teamworking abilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all Catering equipment
- Inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain inventories of equipment, storing and retrieving items and assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary.
- Must have a full clean driving license
- Must be flexible, able to work on all various catering equipment.
- Must abide by all standards and procedures and ensure others do likewise
- Maintaining strong standards, working with the Service Manager and Store Managers
- Working with fellow management and staff to build positive interpersonal relationships and motivate with personal contact
- Position requires a committed individual with extensive experience in the Field of catering equipment.
