Bundee Aki teams up with Supermac’s

“We are delighted to have Bundee Aki on board as Brand Ambassador for our Fresh Range of products,” Supermac’s MD, Pat McDonagh said. “Bundee is an icon of Irish rugby and has proven himself as a great competitor. He is a natural fit for this fresh range of products and the Supermac’s brand in general. All of our beef, chicken and pork is 100% Irish and we have been proudly supporting farm families, clubs and events in these communities for over 40 years and you’d never know where Bundee might show up,” he said.

Supermac’s has a unique position at the heart of each community we are located in.  We are regularly the organisers and venues for fun runs, vintage rallies, charity fundraisers and numerous other community events throughout the country. We sponsor over 300 teams and over 50 charities nationwide, along with numerous community initiatives throughout Ireland.

“I am delighted to come on board with Supermac’s,” Bundee Aki said. “They are a brand I have been a big fan of for years and I am really looking forward to working with Pat, Una and all the team! Ireland is now my home and as everyone knows, enjoying a Supermac’s is a true sign of being home so can’t wait to get started! Hopefully, it now also means, I won’t have to swipe any more chicken tenders!”

Welcome to the team Bundee!

Loughrea Official Opening

There was fantastic celebrations at Loughrea Service Station on the Athenry Rd in Loughrea this Saturday 22nd October for the official Opening of the newest addition to the Plaza Group.

The perfect pitstop indeed had something for everyone. There was Balloon Modelling, a kids disco, face painting, Spin the Wheel, hampers to be won, fuel vouchers and a great family funday.

We would like to thank all our special guests who met the crowds and entertained from early till late. We had Marc Roberts and his “Feel Good Factor” Show, and Tony Cunningham Music provided high energy through out the day.

We had Ryan Andrews from Fair City, the unmistakable Mr. Tayto and everyone’s favourite Connacht Rugby Star, Bundee Aki not to meantion Galway Football, hurling and LFGA stars!

Speaking about the Plaza Group, Pat McDonagh said “The Plazas provide the variety and quality that our customers are looking for and our Drive-Thru option here at the Loughrea Service Station is a convenient new addition to what we can offer our customers in the area”

The Loughrea Service Station consists of Supermac’s, a Supermac’s Drive Thru, Papa John’s, Mac’s Place Deli, Moo Parlour and a Bewley’s Barista.

Pat and Una McDonagh paid special tribute to all the local community whose continued support and well wishes are always gratefully received.

It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all, with even Bundee Aki getting into the spirit by making coffee and helping with the ribbon cutting.

We hope to see you all at the next Plaza Group event!
