Night Hatch Attendant – Tipperary Town

We would like to invite applications for part-time Night Hatch Attendant to join the team in The Tipperary Town Plaza.

PLEASE NOTE:
The Night Hatch Attendant position is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
This role requires full flexibility to work night shifts on these specified days.

Job Purpose: To assist the Retail & Forecourt Manager in supervising the site and operations therein, during the nighttime period.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure the hatch is manned at all times
• When required, the effective induction and training of any new nighttime employees.
• To communicate operational matters to daytime staff, and provide a proper handover if issues are outstanding.
• Ensure high-quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times.
• To carry out any time night duties regarding cleaning or servicing of equipment – coffee machines, etc. in keeping with the procedure to ensure top quality products to our customers, whilst conducting various stocking-up duties during quiet periods, together with cleaning of tea/coffee machines and support duties during quieter times
• Assist the retail and forecourt manager in the effective management of the retail store and forecourt, in particular communicating any customer requests at night, bringing forward any new ideas for improving the service we offer.
• To ensure potential hazards in the store are identified and reduced or where possible removed/eliminated.
• To assist the manager in minimising stock loss through wastage, damages, and pilferage while ensuring food management and waste systems are adhered to.
• Ensure the store is merchandised in a customer-friendly and competitive manner ensuring compliance with company procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure stock is rotated appropriately to ensure in-date stock is available.

The Shop will be closed to the public, however, limited services will be offered by you via the night hatch.
